WWE 2K18 (Yukes/Visual Concepts/2K Games – Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3 – October 17?) – This game going to blow. Furthermore, it won’t be at E3. Because they never show jack to the general public (although last year, and every year, they showed something behind closes doors). Maybe they’ll have some stupid sideshow crap like they did last year: some dude painting wrestlers with a cardboard displaying the WWE 2K18 logo and zero game footage or images. Awesome. Not what you expected from a life-long WWE fan, huh? The game will play just like WWE 2meh17, with some minor tweaks and updates roster and moveset (honestly, I feel these last two MUST be the main reason fellow fans buy these turds).
The game will look like a mid generation Xbox 360/PS3 game, and feature horrendous commentary that you can’t turn off; whereas NBA 2K will continue to blur the line between game and broadcast. Damn you, 2K — I pray your lazy asses lose the WWE license. Why fight to get it if you’re not going to treat it as well as your other properties? “Felipe, why did you want to cover this game if all you were going to do was crap all over it?” Because as a fan, I didn’t want to get your hopes up for this year (especially with Seth Rollins rumored to be on the cover). Someone else might have been happy and wide eyed “This year’s WWE looks to be an ever better…” blah blah blah.. You deserve better. You’ll get it anyway (since we have no other options); just don’t get it at launch. They don’t deserve the full retail price.
