The 2’s of May: Super Blockbusters, Film Fests & Preludes to War!

Next month, everything comes in 2’s: two sure-shot blockbuster films in Iron Man 3 and Star Trek: Into Darkness; two dynamic Film Festivals, with Entertainment Weekly‘s new Capetown Film Fest, hosted by pop culture stalwart, Geoff Boucher, who’ll ask the hot questions to some of the geek industry’s biggest names (highlighted with a rare appearance by Kurt Russell for some Snake talk on Escape from New York, and May the 4th Be With You’s big-screen showing of Return of the Jedi). The LA Times Hero Complex continues their annual film festival as well, with John Carpenter, Guillermo Del Toro, and the X-Files creator Chris Carter taking center stage.

With sure-shots like the prelude to Trinity War in Justice League #20 and the Infinity prelude come FREE COMIC BOOK DAY (May 4th, take your kids!), a much-anticipated album from Reflection Eternal and Black Star emcee, Talib Kweli, and a shooter we definitely can’t miss in Metro: Last Light, we figured we hadda let the people know!

Thus, GHG is happy to present the Community Dweebents Calendar.

What a day: Free Comics and Free shots from a toy Light Saber.
