POKEMON LET’S GO! PIKACHU / EEVEE VERSION (Game Freak/Nintendo – Switch – November 16) – When I first heard of the upcoming Pokémon Switch game and that it wasn’t a “full-fledged” entry into the series, I was already skeptical and dreading the announcement. Dragging my feet not unlike a kid being taken to Home Depot instead of Toys ‘R Us. Learning that it was integrated with Pokémon Go didn’t help matters. AT ALL.

And then I read more info released and JUST watched that beautiful, intriguing trailer. Last time I was this interested in a Pokémon game, it was when X/Y was coming. Pokémon Let’s Go Eevee/Pikachu will have you hunting down the original 151 — plus a new critter — and will integrate new and interesting dynamics like drop in Co-op, transfer and integration between your Pokémon Go account, a pokemon ball controller/Tamagotchi (not kidding) called #PokeBallPlus, and other cool features. You’ll be going back to Kanto to get a piece of the action on November 16 (its a decent pun if you speak Spanish, yo).

Personally, the multiplayer is the aspect that has me the most interested. That trailer makes it look really fresh and easy to set up and jump into. Should be fun on the.. Go. I was a mere 1.5 pokemon candies of excitement before the full announcement, but now I’m munching on a solid 3.5. Oh, the lines to play this at E3 already…
