GAME OF THRONES (Friday – Hall H) – After the excellence of the Fear of the Walking Dead‘s presentation came some little show you may have heard of called Game of Thrones, moderated by the ever loving Kristian Nairn. The fallen Hodar managed this panel a bit different then normal moderators. Kristian had his own list of questions, less about the show and more about if the actors missed his presence on set. Brought on stage? Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bran Stark), John Bradley (Samwell Tully), Nathalie Emmanuel (Missandei), Liam Cunningham (Davos Seaworth), Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark), Jacob Anderson (Grey Worm), Conleth Hill (Lord Varys), Alfie Allen (Theon Greyjoy), and Gwendoline Christie (Brienne of Tarth).

One of the best questions asked from Hodar was about the characters’ wants and needs on the panel. Bradley talked about how his character had never felt loved or excepted, perhaps one reason why he bonded so much with Jon Snow despite knowing he can never be his equal on the battlefield; he heads to the Citadel, but unfortunately even there is he seen as just as much of an outsider.

“Just how we do.”

Cunningham’s biggest want with his character would be retribution to Melisandra the Red Woman for the death of Shireen. But — yeah — he isn’t the cold blooded type. “I don’t think he’s the vindictive type. I think though if there’s a good chance he’s pop a couple caps in her ass. I don’t think he has a list. But he’d take her out and bury her in a shallow grave, but that’s just me.”

“It’s a doggy dog world!”

Alhough this was a very lackluster panel till the new footage was shown, let’s just say it looks like shit’s about get all crazh and cold and wintery! Expect more battles and builds that not placate the notion of Daenerys’ importance, but there’s another one as well. Snow, maybe? Only time will tell. 2.5/5 White Walkers Agree.
